Bedrooms

Our rooms are stretched our along the loch front on the first floor of the hotel and most have magnificent views westward out to sea. Others look up the hill towards Bein Shieldaig. All are different and each has its own charm. For our returning guests – if you have a favourite room please let us know when you book and we will be happy to reserve it for you.
The hotel is in the centre of the quiet village of Shieldaig but there can occasionally be some early morning noise as the fishermen set out to sea, the children to school and the milkman arrives with the village’s daily supplies.
If you want complete quiet then ask for a room looking up to the mountains.
A great deal of wildlife can be spotted from your room. Look out for pine martins, otters (best early morning), sea eagles herons, divers and our pair of oyster catchers.
Every room has its own bathroom, a small sitting area and is equipped with all the bits and pieces you will need. If you want fresh milk for your early morning tea – just let us know.
To preserve the peace and quiet we do not supply televisions in the rooms (but there is one in one of the downstairs sitting rooms) and there are no telephones in the rooms. There is wi-fi throughout the hotel and a lap top for guests use.
