Shieldaig is situated in the centre of a National Scenic Area in the heart of Wester Ross. The land that surrounds us is one of Europe's last wildernesses. It is rugged and impossibly beautiful but surprisingly accessible both by car and on foot.
It is here that the Torridon mountains meet the western seas. Shieldaig itself is a working fishing village so you can enjoy a stroll round the village and watch the fishermen land their catch.
